A Texas Christmas

Well, this great grin sums up our Christmas holiday! We had a wonderful holiday with family and friends in Texas and Alex finally got to go to "The Farm" and ride 4-Wheelers, sit on the horses with daddy, ride in the Ranger, play in the dirt, he saw his first campfire (he was in bed before smores time, maybe next time), learned to say "Go" and "Tractor," and checked out the new tree house we built!

He quickly got over his fear of Santa (see video below) because he would not stop saying "anta" (No S) and kissing the plastic Santa on my dad's front porch. I mean everytime he walked by the window he had to stop and point and say "anta" 10 times until we opened the door and he could go out and hug/kiss Santa. It was just too adorable.

This is his chilly new buggy from Big Daddy and Grandma Susie! It can roll any direction and he really liked rolling down the driveway in it!

First skateboard ride with Uncle Charlie...they were cruisin'!

Four generations of Stockers standing in front of the new Tree House at the Farm. Truly Priceless.

It was really fun to ride horses again...it had been a LONG time but the skills were still there...I guess it's like riding a bike.

Marc really enjoyed riding. I think this was one of the highlights of the trip for him. He got really good, really quick...a natural cowboy. The 8-day beard helped him look the part too!

Alex snuggled under a blanket with Aunt Kelsey while we rode around in the Polaris, collecting firewood for the nights. This was another highlight for Marc because he got to use a chainsaw.

Fun overload on the 4-wheeler. My heart melted...

Alex and I snuggling in the top seat of the Ranger.

Alex loved the huge piles of leaves and just couldn't figure out where his legs were.

Alex LOVED sitting on the small tractor, then my dad drove him around in the HUGE tractor. Boys will be boys.....

Family photo. This is where Grandma Susie taught Alex, "Go." Everytime she would stop on the 4-Wheeler he would tell her to "Go!"

Playing with the cow skull out front at Grammy and Papa's house in Hunstville. He loved the horses and buffalo but kept calling them "dogs."

Group shot!

The boys helped Champe move all they hay to the loft in the barn. A "25-min" job turned into a few hours...ha ha!

Alex was petting the horses with Grammy and Papa!

Big hug from Grammy!!

Slam Dunk! Santa brought Alex a basketball hoop!

Big Daddy pulled Alex for lots of wagon rides around the block. They even got the mail which Alex then threw out one piece at a time leaving a trail. He he he.

Alex enjoyed playing INSIDE Uncle Charlie's old toy chest.

In-out. Bump Head. Cry for 2 seconds. Repeat x 10.

Hooray for me.

Kelsey really looked great! We can't wait to meet Callie in just 3 months!!

Cousin Mallory and Alex! Gig 'em Aggies!
