Me and Grandpa Chuck!!We had a great time with the whole Cornelius/Wittwer family in Hilton Head, SC last week! Alex enjoyed his first visit to the beach where he played in the sand (some was consumed!) , chased a friendly Crane (bird), and let the waves crash over his legs with wild laughs! Christy's parents, Chris & Justine, drove down from Ohio, along with her brother John. (Great Great) Aunt Carol came down from Dublin to give Alex lots of kisses, too! Grandpa Chuck helped out a lot by feeding Alex, swimming with him in the pool, and taking him on long walks. Alex was crawling all over the beautiful house and Aunt Mallory and Aunt Margot were helping him practice his walking! Aunt Mallory's friend Lauren took Alex on long beach walks when he was cranky! We enjoyed 5-star meals prepared by Christy and chowed down on John's homemade salsa, guacamole and margaritas! We played poker twice, with Mal winning big the first time, and Marc and I splitting the pot in Round 2! We had a wonderful vacation and it was so great spending such quality time with family. We miss you all and love you!
