TEXAS TRIP, PART II

Here is part 2 of our fun trip to TX!!!

 Of course, this was one of the best ones I got and it's blurry.  Cute cousins...

 Because it was sooo hot we did not stay at the farm overnight.  We did manage to get in a few hours so Alex could get his "tractor and Ranger" fill with PawPaw.

 Alex and I got to stay at Charlie and Kelsey's house for two nights and we had lots of fun.  On Sunday night we went to a church function at a huge gymnastics place.  Alex and Callie ran wild and burned lots of energy.  Look at Callie's little smile above...they were into mischief!

 Okay, Charlie will vouch for this.  The shot right before this one (that I missed) was hilarious.  We were dying laughing.  Alex first held his arm down and yelled, "Callie, I'll help you!"   Charlie and I laughed at this...they're a good 15 feet apart.  Then, Alex dangled a leg down the "ladder" and yelled, "Callie grab my leg I will help you."  It's good to know chivalry isn't dead in kids.  I just missed the dangling leg when I took the above picture...darn it.

 Here it is.  It definitely seems like Alex is choking Macie but he has just trying to hug her and had just given her a sweet little kiss.

 Okay I took a few and this was the best one of all three with PawPaw.  I tried...I even bribed Callie with juice. 

 It was really great for my mom "Grammy" and Aunt Morgan to come over on Monday.  Kelsey made fabulous homemade pizzas and we had lots of fun!

 One last night at PawPaw and Susie's before we had to leave.  The video of this fishing game is classic.  Ariel has to intervene and get the last few fish...they're a little too quick for Alex and PawPaw.



TEXAS TRIP, PART I

Alex and I had a great 6 days in Texas, too many pictures to BLOG all at once so here goes part 1...

 Alex was really looking forward to the airplane ride...

                       Alex had the first of three birthday celebrations in TX and Kelsey made AWESOME
                    spiderman cupcakes for the occasion...thanks again Kelsey, that was above and beyond!

 We did lots of swimming in the hot weather to keep cool and have fun.  Alex and Callie had lots of fun swimming and even Macie went for a dip in the pool!

Tom...here it is!!!  Word up.

BEACH BASH!

Before you browse the beach pictures, Alex would like to show you his Halloween costume.  We are extremely early this year!  If he has on the costume but no mask, he's Alex.  If he has the mask on, he only answers to Spiderman.  We're in full preparation for his upcoming Spiderman birthday party, it's gonna be a fun one!

On Saturday Alex and I went to the I MEF Beach Bash and boy was it fun.  They had two bounce houses, pony rides, games, prizes, and lots of food!  Alex was not into the pony rides at first but once he saw the other kids doing it I couldn't get him off the ponies.  We stayed for the whole three hours and had lots of fun.  He ate a cheeseburger, watermelon, cheetos, 2 choc chip cookies, popcorn, and part of a snowcone.  Sugar galore, but that's what beach parties are for!!
