NAVY FOOTBALL WITH BABY MJ AND MORE HALLOWEEN FUN!

Alright, I think I'm finally caught up on BLOGGING now! Here are some pictures of cookie decorating (and eating) at home, YMCA Halloween party, and Navy Football Homecoming game with Aunt Meg/Uncle Mike/Baby MJ (sooo cute). Alex is a dancing machine lately. See the video at the bottom...if there is music playing and he can here it, he is dancing, MANIAC style. He was even rocking out to "Ring Around the Rosey" tonight, throwing himself onto the floor like a nut. Sound familiar, mom/Grammy? I had a great birthday today and Alex said "Surprise" when I came into the house from work...he had a balloon and flowers for me, from him and Marc of course. I also got a beautiful new purse (that I wanted)...I must have been extra good this year. I love my boys and we can't wait for Halloween this weekend! We sure miss everyone...

Cookie decorating with black icing...it looks so nice on his teeth, and everywhere else it ended up.

Yummy, mommy. We should do this more often.

Here they are, enjoying their masterpieces, one black icing bite at a time.

Here are Alex and John Michael, patiently waiting for the YMCA Halloween party to start. They were very excited, despite it being a rainy night. They kept saying "party party party" over and over for like an hour before we left the house.

Here they are in the jumpy house...this was really fun!

Here is Alex going to get some candy after playing ring toss. Good job Alex!!

Here we are before leaving the party!

Another trick-or-treating preview. Last Friday there was a fall festival at Alex's school and we took him and John Michael. They liked wearing their costumes...Alex is not afraid of his anymore.

Here they are in the "scary room" with Marc...the fog machine was going strong.

Mommy and Alex, waiting for our turn on the hayride!

Here are the boys, enjoying a lollipop during the hayride.

After a fun time at the festival we brought them home, bathed them, and put on their Hallween PJs. They are really good at building towers with these legos.

Best buddies!
Go Navy, beat Wakeforest!

Alex thought the Chuck-o-Board was a slide. All afternoon.

Meg and Mike...happy parents glow!

Megan with baby MJ in his white works...too adorable.

Precious Michael...

Here is Alex "playing" ladderball. ha ha...

This is a hilarious video. We laugh everytime we watch it. Go Alex, go Alex....

CATCHING UP!!

Well, I am a bit behind on blogging. We have had a busy two weeks! Chuck and Christy (Poppy and CC) were here visiting over Columbus Day weekend, and Margot came down from Woodbridge too. We had a great time and enjoyed some good weather! Alex really misses his Poppy and CC and can't wait to have a sleepover with his Aunt Margot in two weeks!!

Christy and I took Alex to the park. Here he is after his shirt was soaked on the first slide (rain water at the end of the tunnel). The ladies at the playground were loving the Iceman look.
On the way to that first slide...

You can be my wingman anytime.

costume familiarization continues so that he's not scared next weekend! He actually wore his costume tonight (23 Oct) to the Halloween Festival at his daycare and he did great!

Modeling the nice bracelets he got in his happy meal...thank you CC!
Poppy and CC got all dressed up for a wedding on Saturday night...woo hhoooo!
Pumpkin Patch! We went to Clarke's Farm again this year and boy was it fun...check it out:

Pumpkin bowling...Alex and John Michael really liked this.

Here we are helping Alex choose his most special pumpkin.

IT CAN'T GET ANY WORSE...

...for the Steelers. They have lost two games in a row so hopefully they win on Sunday. Here we are last weekend with our neighbors' grandson John Michael in our Steelers gear, cheering them on. I guess we didn't cheer loud enough. At least Alex's Aunts Margot & Mal (and CC and Poppy) had something to cheer about, good win Bengals!

Here is Alex in his coloring/art smock. He likes to wear it even when he's done coloring. He also likes putting the crayons back into the box.

We finally set up his kitchen a few weeks ago (2 weeks after his birthday) and he LOVES it. He likes to go "shopping" with his cart and fill it with food.

Here he is cooking something on the stove.

Here he is shopping with Blue Bear.

"Cheeeeese" during a yummy dinner at his big boy table.

Hangin' out with Dad and Rummy. Alex's first official "chore" is feeding Rummy. He feeds her every morning and every night and does a really good job. He calls her in from the backyard then puts her food in the bowl saying "good girl Rummy."

Snoozin' with his giraffe on the way to Annapolis two weeks ago

Coloring with John Michael during the Steelers game.

wrestling...boys will be boys

we're not doing anything too rowdy, i promise...
