pictures pictures pictures

Okay, I was finally able to upload pictures today and not just videos! Alex has been a busy little bee! Here are two from Sunday's swim time...
Monday at home after daycare
Practicing squatting...he's strong!
Post-swim, cooling off in the A/C...
Into mischief of course....

This is Alex's Astros shirt from Big Daddy
Pre-haircut...check out the cool kiddie smock with animals on it! It was so cute!
Alex chewed on his favorite squeaker mouse while Karena started trimming.
Ready for his close-up!
TA-DA!!! What a handsome boy there was under that hair!

I'm up...they see me...I'm down.

Alex enjoys climbing the stairs on his own after dinner, as we head to bathtime! Lately, though, he does get distracted by the banister columns/rail.

swim time yesterday

Alex and I went to the pool yesterday where we enjoyed the weather and cool water. These videos were taken on my camera so they're not as good as the ones from the video camera. We also got into the big pool for a good half hour and I pushed him around the whole time. He had lots of fun!

Cute Videos

Yummers!

The giggle monster came out when the tickle monster got him!

Alex took some good steps this past weekend and then walked across the room at day care today. I'll post the video from daycare after they email it to me. This video was on Sunday afternoon!

Visit with Grandpa Chuck and CC!!

Alex and Grandpa ChuckAll three kids greet Marc at the door...
Daddy is home from work!
Alex still loves playing with water bottles!
Looking sleepy!
Getting ready for some yummy breakfast!

Grandpa Chuck fed me goodies!
My hip new outfit from CC!
This is Alex's birthday present from Grandpa Chuck and CC that he won't stop playing with! He loves the curly ribbons and keeps trying to sneak a peek one month early!
Thank you CC, for taking such good care of me!
so handsome...
Grandpa Chuck's phone is a good evening snack for Alex.
Are we having fun yet?
The latest Blue Steele
I'm a happy guy during mealtimes!!
Alex had a great two weeks with CC and Grandpa Chuch watching him while I was TAD for two weeks to California. We really appreciate their help, especially since Marc's TBS hours are so long. Alex went on lots of day trips and even got to go to Toys 'r Us. He definitely misses Grandpa Chuck and CC but was happy to see his friends at daycare today. We're hoping he's exhausted and will sleep all night! Thank you again to Chuck and Christy...we could not have done that schedule without you both being here! We hope to see you in a month for Alex's birthday!

new pet in our house...good boy.

During his two weeks with Grandpa Chuck and CC, Alex learned to go out the dog door we got for Rummy and Willow. He is too funny, and the spoiling continued from Grandpa Chuck and CC!
Looks easy enough, if Willow can do it then I can do it.
Hmmm....
Sizing up the height...
Little push here, maybe...
Ah ha, daylight...
I've got it now...
Yeaaaa, look at me. I'm sure this doormat is clean.
Lookout world, here I come!
Back inside now, should be a piece of cake.
Head first, bottom up!East does it...One leg to go and I'm in...
Mission Accomplished!

Whew, I'm tired now!

4th of July

Waving hi to the camera...love that Houston Zoo shirt from the Gaughns!
Still loves his remote!
The table is the perfect height for Alex and sometimes he pretends it's his drum set...we love that.
Such a sweet, innocent face! I think he's offering to share the toy with me.
Um...this child is NOT underfed...check out the belly. It giggles when he laughs like a bowl full of jelly!
We went to Annapolis for the 4th of July to visit Alex's Godparents, Megan and Michael Esposito. We went to lunch at ACME in DTA and Marc gave Alex a pickle to see what he would do and he actually loved it! He gnawed on the thing for 20 minutes and was a mess afterwards!
Alex and Daddy, hangin' out at ACME!
Alex saw Tecumseh for the first time!
Mr. Excitement after his bath...in his new pajamas!
Hey guys, I'm just happy to be here!

In other news, Alex had his first case of pink eye this week so he and I stayed at home on Thursday after visiting the pediatrician on Wednesday afternoon. He wasn't cranky at all, just contagious. We had a nice day and a half together and he returned to daycare on Friday. We are looking forward to the arrival of Grandpa Chuck and Grandma CC from Arizona. They will be arriving this week to visit Alex and watch him during Marc's long hours! I'm traveling to the west coast for work for about 10 days...my first trip away from Alex! I will miss him but he will have lots of fun with his grandparents! I hope all is well with everyone and that you're having a great weekend!

Fast Run and Baby Steps

Alex is so funny and he loves his Stride 'n Ride!

Two small steps for Alex, one giant leap for the Cornelius kind!
